Lyndy McCathie
Principal and Company Director, Lyndy enjoys all of the challenges of managing a Real Estate office.  Lyndy is a qualified Property Manager, Body Corporate Manager and Real Estate Salesperson, as well as a Justice of the Peace Qualified.  Keeping up to date with changing legislation makes attending all training sessions offered to the Real Estate industry a high priority for Lyndy and all the staff at McCathies Real Estate. Outside of work, Lyndy loves to spend time with her family.

Janice Jones
Company Director and Principal Property manager, Janice spends 70% of her working day out of the office doing routine inspections as well as entry and exit condition reports.

Janice is a people person with a very compassionate and caring nature.Janice loves spending her spare time in the garden, renovating and decorating houses as well as looking after her grandchildren.


John McCathie
Company Director and Auctioneer.  John's main interest is in chattels auctions from 1 to 1000 lots and over - household goods to machinery any day of the week , you can be guaranteed your auction will be professionally managed.

John also keeps busy as a qualified Massage Therapist.  His hobbies include fishing, riding his Harley and he enjoys music festivals & events such as the Byron Bay Blues Festival, Gympie Muster and Woodford Folk Festival.

Geoff Keyse
Sales Manager. Geoff joined the company in 1989 and has had many years in the Real Estate industry and is a very dedicated team member.  Geoff is a professional in every area when it comes to sales.  He also holds an Auctioneers licence. 

Geoff is a Justice of the Peace qualified and has been a member of the " Burdekin Brass Band" for over 40 years. Geoff along with his wife Judith are also very family orientated and value the time they spend with their two young grandchildren.

Neil Jensen
Neil joined our sales team in November 2002 and is enjoying the challenges that the Real Estate Industry has to offer.  Neil previously owned a very successful camping store in Ayr for over 16 years and is well known in the community. 

Neil has been an active member of " Ayr Surf Lifesavers Club" for many years and is a dedicated family man.  Neil also plays touch football and night soccer.

Lisa Zabel
Lisa joined our business in 1996.  She is currently working on a casual basis as a Sales Assistant.  Lisa is very competent in all areas of Office and Property Management and is always available to help out as we call on her expertise regularly. 

Along with husband Tony and two young daughters, Lisa is very busy. 

Rachel Sticklen
Rachel's main role within our office is to handle all maintenance requests as well as a range of other Property management duties which include Inspections, Tenancy agreements and the processing of Tenancy Applications

Rachel is kept busy outside of work with her 2 children and husband, Troy.  Her interests include netball, scrapbooking, travelling and gardening.

Deanne Lewty
Deanne joined our Property Management team in 2003 and has completed her certificate 4 in Property Management.  Deanne is enjoying the challenges of her job.  Her previous experience as a legal secretary is a valuable asset as Deanne handles all rent arrears, trust accounting and court documents. 

Deanne and husband Bruce have 2 daughters who occupy all her free time.

Dianne Edwards

Dianne joined our office family in February 2005 and has now settled into her position as Sales Support. With 10 years experience in legal conveyancing, Dianne has a good understanding of property sales. Since joining our office, Dianne has completed the Property Management course.

Away from the office, Dianne is kept busy with her family - husband David, daughter Maigen and son Jack.  In any spare time Dianne enjoys patchworking, reading & fishing

 

Wendy Bedggood

Wendy joined our McCathies Family in April 2007 and has now settled into her position within Property Management. Wendy time is spent conducting routine and vacating inspections as well general Property Management duties. Wendy is an active member of the Ayr Rotary Club and has become a valuable community member since calling the Burdekin home almost 3 years ago. 


Lynelle Wright

Lynelle is the newest member of our office and has taken up the challenge of Property Managment.  She joins our Team in the front office and duties will include front counter enquiries and general Property Management Duties. 

In her spare time Lynelle enjoys reading, fishing and spends alot of her time at the Beach with her husband John and son Brock.
